Electric vehicle safety training
This training is mainly focused on how to carry out different operations safely on electric vehicles by the technicians.
Objectives
The goal of this training is to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to safely handle, operate, maintain and repair electric vehicles.

Validation
At the end of the training, a training certificate will be issued
to the trainees.

Theoretical content
• Basic understanding of the operation of electric vehicles
• Basic electrical concepts and the effect of electric current on the human body
• Introduction to arc flash and potential dangers associated with it
• Risk assessment prior to working on electric vehicles
• Safe working procedures while working on electric vehicles
• Electric vehicle life cycle and corresponding PPE’s required
• Hazards associated with motor vehicle high energy electrical system
• Electrical fire and ways to extinguish/control them
• Emergency operations in relation to electric vehicle
